Now more than ever, video games are filled with real, grounded, opinionated characters. From tough, manipulating villains to brash, loud-mouthed sidekicks to ruthless heroes with a distinct purpose.

Society has always taught us to be polite… to fit in… to be "normal". Guess what? Those bad habits subconsciously keep us playing small－effectively limiting us from bringing our unique selves to the mic when auditioning for the wide range of powerful, memorable characters the modern video games industry demands.

And no, you don't have to have some deep, gruff voice to be badass. It's all in the attitude and confidence your character exudes.

Mara & Jordan will teach how to find the inner badass inside of yourself－using it to bring compelling characters to life that truly stand out to casting directors.

• SKILL LEVEL: All levels welcome. Previous training or experience is recommended, but not required.
    
• FORMAT: Discussion and Q&A followed by student script reads and evaluation feedback (scripts will be provided before the workshop).  If time allows, students will get to read two different scripts in two different rounds.
